GEPC wants to connect you and equip you, and most importantly help you to grow in your love and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Below are ways adults can engage in this process:
Men & Women: Offered from 9:45-10:45 join a number of Sunday School classes for an opportunity to dig deeper into the Bible. You can find the Sunday school descriptions in the link below.
New Members & New Believers
If you feel that you are being called to commit your life to Christ or if you would like to become an official member at Gashland, please reach out to the Pastor HERE or the Discipleship Team HERE, and they will help connect you with a mentor to begin the process.
PreMarital Counseling | Alpha Pre-Marriage Class
The Alpha Pre-Marriage Class is offered at different times throughout the year and is announced in The Link and is displayed on the events calendar on our website. If you are interested in being married at Gashland and would like more information please visit our Weddings & Marriage Page.
Women need time to love and be loved, and learn aside other women. Gashland provides several opportunities for women to spend time together in Scripture, in prayer, and in fellowship. Be on the lookout each month in The Link Announcements for further details and upcoming event announcements regarding these various ministries.
Women’s Circle Bible Study Groups
These groups meet for prayer, study, and fellowship once a month on the third Tuesday of the month. These are great fellowship times where friends are always welcome and you can come when you can. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
Ladies Morning Circle Bible Study meets from 9:30-11:30am in the church Fellowship Hall and will be studying the book Giving God Your All: Women of Faith Study Guide Series. Contact email@example.com for more info.
Martha Circle, a scripture, prayer & fellowship group open to all women, meets from 7:00-9:00 pm in various homes. Carpool from the church is an option, but look for details each month in The Link. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more info.
Precepts Bible Study
Precepts Bible Study is an in-depth, inductive way of studying scripture. This class runs September through May, every Thursday from 1:30-3:30 at the church. This year Lisa Miller will be leading the class through the book of James. Contact email@example.com for more info.
Women’s Small Group Gathering
This gathering meets almost weekly on Wednesdays at the home of Melissa Cable from 9:30-11:30am, October-May. This is an intimate time of light study, prayer and relationship building. There will be an interest meeting at the Cable home on September 16th, look for details soon about that. This group is aimed at those able to make a commitment to attend most weeks. Bible Study Fellowship
Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) is an international organization with more than 1,000 classes worldwide that meet for an in-depth, interdenominational Bible study. Their Northland Kansas City class meets here at Gashland EPC, every Thursday from 9:40-11:30 am and will be studying the book of Revelation this year. There is a study, lecture, and small group time. BSF also has an amazing children’s program and welcomes little ones starting at birth, including grandkids. BSF begins Sept 17th and will go through May. Around the Table
Around the Table gathers six women within homes to share a simple meal and gospel-centered conversation to inspire each other to deepen our relationship with Christ. Monthly sign ups are the last two Sundays of each month. Sign up options vary from weeknight and weekend lunches and dinners. Find a time that works for your schedule and come join us! Scrapbooking meets the 3rd Saturday of each month in church rooms 217 & 218. The group has the room reserved from 10am-5 pm and women can come and go. They organize their photos in an artistic way in books that provide a living memory of a special person or family, special vacations, history, etc. They share tools and knowledge with anyone who needs some help. The women show photos and tell stories that mean so much to them as well as a good friendship with each other. Godly music is played and praise is given for the memories they share. LapCraft group is a hobby and crafting group that meets almost every Friday from 9:30am-12:00 pm. This is a relaxed time to work on whatever it is that you need to work on, while spending time with other women. Some ladies sew, knit, some scrapbook, some do paper crafts, and some have been known to do their nails!
